This department aims at imparting the courses of fundamentals of Animal Science including physiology, nutrition, genetics, reproduction, research, production, and economics. While Dairy Science courses are about the study of milk and milk-derived food products from a food science perspective. Department of Animal Science and Dairy Science has well equipped practical section with animal science laboratory aids and latest milk processing machineries along with well qualified teaching faculty involved in imparting quality education. Regularly up gradation and modernization of laboratories as per syllabus & change in technology is in practice. Department is also instrumental in various extension, consultancy to the farmers.
